Chief (Mrs) Josephine Abbas Dayilim, Sarauniya Mangu and Founder/CEO of Atjoda Hope Foundation, was recently conferred with the prestigious award of Youth Ambassador , in recognition of her outstanding commitment to Youth Development and exceptional contributions to the mission of Plateau (PPYN) Foundation, by the Plateau Progressive Youth Movement ( PPYN), at the Odilins Event Centre, Jos.
This distinguished honor is a testament to her tireless efforts in empowering youths and promoting positive change in the society.
Chief (Mrs) Josephine Abbas Dayilim’s impact on youths, women, and the community at large has been truly remarkable. Through her foundation, she has demonstrated a deep understanding of the needs of the youths and has worked tirelessly to provide them with opportunities for growth and development. Her selfless dedication to the growth and development of young people is an inspiration to them, and her contributions to the community have left an indelible mark.
In her acceptance speech, she expressed happiness and gratitude for the great recognition and advised the youths to remain focused on their goals and visions, emphasizing the importance of hard work, commitment, and dedication in all their endeavours. She also cautioned them against indulging in acts of drug abuse and chronic alcoholism etc, highlighting the devastating consequences on mental and physical health, finances, social life, and legal issues. Drawing from her experience as a former Director of NAFDAC, she encouraged the youths to aim high and avoid the pitfalls that can derail their future prospects.
Her NGO , Atjoda Hope Foundation and other awardees offered to support the Plateau Progressive Youth Movement (PPYN) Foundation
financially and otherwise during the programme, and looked forward to collaborating with them to achieve their objectives.
She further informed them of her NGO’s commitment to championing the causes of widows, orphans and the girl child affected by crisis in various parts of Plateau State and beyond and the campaign against drug abuse and other vices.
The BOT and staff of Atjoda Hope Foundation congratulate Chief (Mrs) Dayilim, their MD /CEO, on this well-deserved recognition and prayed that it will inspire her to continue making a positive impact in the lives of youths and the community at large.
