Chief Mrs. Josephine Abbas Dayilim, esteemed CEO/Founder of Atjoda Hope Foundation and revered Sarauniyan Mangu, has been bestowed with the prestigious 2025 Award for Leadership in Philanthropy by the Mangu Leadership Award (MLA). This esteemed award acknowledges Chief Mrs. Dayilim’s outstanding contributions to society, in exemplifying exceptional leadership and a deep commitment to philanthropy.
Through her tireless efforts, she has uplifted countless lives and communities, earning her a place among the most revered individuals in the region. Her unwavering dedication to improving the lives of others is evident in the numerous initiatives she has spearheaded while in service and now through ongoing collaboration with Governments, Institutions Non-Governmental Organizations and like -minded individuals through the Atjoda Hope Foundation after its unveiling, all aimed at fostering positive change and supporting victims of communal crises and other forms of community upheavals.
She further said the collaboration and support (financial, resource based, expertise etc) , will make a meaningful difference in the lives of beneficiaries, as they intend to embark on some visits to some vulnerable communities affected by crises in some Plateau communities for now and beyond to provide succor ( agricultural inputs, food items, clothes etc), sensitization on drugs abuse/ training skills, rehabilitation programmes and infrastructural developments etc.
During the award ceremony, Chief Mrs Dayilim expressed her sincere appreciation to the organizers for the great recognition, stating that it would serve as a potent catalyst for her continued philanthropic endeavours, so as to bring permanent and lasting succour to the vulnerable, the needy affected by crises ( particularly widows, orphans, the girl- child ), and prevention of the youths indulgence in drug addiction
and rehabilitation of those already affected.
